 "Faraday" -  english gentleman's club flask 0,5 l (a square bottle of white glass) with two-scales thermometer, phosphorescent clock pointer drink and two canisters for cigars.
Materials: brass, bronze, copper, nickel silver. Electronic-mechanical clocks powered by a standard watch battery.
Jar sizes: 285 x 125 x 75 mm.
Mass of empty flask - 2.150 kg weight with case - 3.850 kg.

Настенные часы "Дископус Хикиус" в стиле стимпанк (steampunk) Алексея Мелешева

Материалы: медь красная, латунь, гальваническое покрытие, латунь, древесина дуба.

В начале девяностых от живописи и графики, занятия которыми он никогда не оставлял, Алексей обратился к техноскульптуре из металла и дерева. На первой выставке его работ (совместной с художником по дереву В.Чернявским), состоявшейся осенью 1994-го года в Национальном Выставочном Центре г.Киева, в числе прочих было представлено несколько работ, в которых безошибочно угадываются мотивы, характерные для популярного ныне стиля "стимпанк".
